One approval opens four doors

The Disability Tax Credit isn't just a tax refund. A valid DTC certificate is the required key to a chain of federal programs. Most people leave several of these unclaimed.

How it works

Three steps, in whatever channel works for you — online, phone, or a mix.

Free assessment, your way

Use our online screener, chat with our AI navigator, or book a call. We'll tell you honestly whether you have a case — including when you'd be better off self-filing for free.

We build your application

We prepare Form T2201, coordinate with your medical practitioner, and handle all CRA communication. You track everything in your secure portal.

You get approved and paid

Retroactive refunds arrive from the CRA. We then help you claim the follow-on benefits — CDB, RDSP, and more — most firms stop at step one.

Honest answers to real questions

Written at a plain-language reading level, sourced to CRA guidance.

Do I really need a company to apply for the DTC?
No — and we'll tell you that to your face. The CRA's digital T2201 application is free, and our free guides walk you through it. People hire us when their case is complicated, was previously denied, involves many retroactive years, or they simply don't have the energy to fight it. That's a legitimate choice, and it should come with a transparent price.
My condition doesn't feel "severe enough." Can I still qualify?
Possibly. Eligibility is about how your impairment affects daily functioning — not the diagnosis itself. Conditions like ADHD, Type 1 diabetes (deemed eligible for life-sustaining therapy since 2021), chronic pain, and mental health conditions qualify regularly. As of the 2026 tax year, the government has also proposed a streamlined certification path for a list of long-lasting medical conditions.
What is the Canada Disability Benefit and do I qualify?
The CDB is a federal payment of up to $200/month for Canadians aged 18–64 who hold a valid DTC certificate, have filed taxes, and meet an income test. It launched in July 2025 and can be paid retroactively up to 24 months from your application (not earlier than June 2025). Getting the DTC is the required first step — which is why we include CDB applications in our full-service package.
I was denied before. Is it worth trying again?
Often, yes. Many denials come down to how the medical form described your limitations, not whether you actually qualify. A stronger application or a formal review can succeed where a first attempt failed. We assess denied cases for free and tell you honestly whether an appeal has merit.
How are you different from other disability credit companies?
Three ways: we publish our fees; we give away real self-serve tools instead of gating everything behind a phone call; and we handle the whole benefits chain (DTC, then CDB, RDSP, and child benefits) rather than stopping at the tax refund. We'd rather earn your trust than pressure you.
